Many organizations use both an ERP system and an archive system. The archive system allows documents to be filed digitally with a complete audit trail for regulatory compliance. They must remain unchanged and be retained according to legal requirements.
Two ways to archive signed documents
Our e-signature solution ensures that documents signed with autosign are automatically archived. Two approaches are available:
- autosign stores signed documents on a defined network drive that your archive system can access.
- Your archive system is connected to autosign via an existing integration.
The major advantage of this approach: additional data is transmitted. Beyond the document name, version, and reference number, all metadata is included – for example, when the document was signed, who signed it, and which device was used.
