- Transmit a PDF (Base64 encoded) via our REST Api
- Use a predefined PDF template and send us only the payload (e.g. customer data) you’d like to add to the PDF.

Are electronic signatures legally valid?
Most documents (including those mentioned above) can be validly signed with a simple electronic signature on a mobile device, as they fall under what is legally known as the “freedom of form” principle.
This means the contracting parties themselves decide how they want to formalize their agreement, with no special legal restrictions on using electronic signatures. autosign is therefore legally secure for these documents!
There are, however, certain exceptions to the freedom-of-form principle – typically documents with significant consequences, such as real estate contracts or wills. Specific requirements may also arise from national laws or individual agreements.
